You can check the progress of your order at any time using our order tracking service.
Once your order has been dispatched, we'll email you a tracking number and details of the courier handling your delivery.
When Will My Tracking Information Be Available?
Your tracking number is emailed automatically once your order leaves our warehouse. It can take a few hours for the courier to activate tracking, so don't worry if there's no update straight away.
How to Track Your Delivery
Use the tracking link in your dispatch email, or enter your tracking number directly on the courier's website. Updates typically include collection, transit, an estimated delivery date, and delivery confirmation.
Haven't Received Your Tracking Email?
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Make sure you're checking the email address used when you placed your order.
- Allow a little time — you'll only receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.
If you still can't find it, contact us and we'll be happy to help.
Who Delivers Your Order
Which carrier we use depends on the size and weight of your order:
- Royal Mail — smaller orders such as single bags, fat balls and coconut halves. Track a Royal Mail item at royalmail.com/track-your-item.
- A parcel courier — larger bags of seed and bulk suet orders, which are too heavy for Royal Mail. Your dispatch email names the courier handling your order and links straight to their tracking page.
If your tracking number does not work on the carrier's site, give it a few hours — tracking is often not activated until the parcel reaches the carrier's first depot. If it still shows nothing the next working day, contact us on 0117 330 2277 or sales@birdseed.co.uk and we will chase it for you.
